The Legislative Review by the Manitoba Government is very interesting as in 1982 the Commissioners and senior management of WCB were all replaced due to mismanagement and unfair treatment of workers which is what should happen in Alberta. This was a recommendation by a former MLA, Richard Magnus and should be the recommendation of the NDP Government.
Also of note in Section V of the report which does confirm my opinion that a worker does not have to provide any evidence to support a claim or an employer does not have to provide any evidence to disprove a claim. Adjudication of all claims are supposed to be based on an Inquiry Model not an Adversarial Model which has been used for the last several decades in Alberta.
