Chief Appeals Commissioner George Pheasy resigning

A worker with a long standing claim has advised me that the Alberta Government’s lackey, George Pheasy has resigned albeit far too late. His resignation was recommended 10 years ago by Justice Friedman but Justice Friedman’s recommendation was ignored and workers were forced to endure another 10 years of this man’s incompetence or deliberate manipulation of evidence specific to a worker’s claim. How many workers over the course of his tenure have committed suicide or had their lives ruined because of this man’s influence or involvement in denying claims and benefits may never be known. In life, we generally reap what we sow and the hope is that this man has resigned because of a terminal disease rather than leaving with a golden handshake.
